SMS Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 6, 2026

1. Program Description

AurelianOS sends SMS messages on behalf of contractors (plumbers, HVAC technicians, electricians, and other local service providers) to their customers. Messages relate to service requests the customer has initiated. Message types include:

This is a transactional messaging program. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.

2. How Consent Works (Call-to-Action)

You only receive SMS messages from AurelianOS after you explicitly opt in. View the full Call-to-Action disclosure →

Here's the process:

  1. You call your contractor about a service need (e.g., a broken water heater).
  2. If the call is missed or the contractor uses text-based service, you receive one opt-in message — the exact message is:
"[Contractor Name] here. You called us — reply YES to continue by text for your service request. Terms: aurelianos.com/sms-terms. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg & data rates may apply."
  3. You must reply YES to receive any further messages. No messages are sent without your explicit YES reply. Your consent is timestamped and logged.
  4. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase — you can always call the contractor directly.

3. Message Frequency

You may receive up to 6 messages per service engagement (one opt-in request, appointment confirmations, and one post-service follow-up). Messages are tied to a specific service request — not ongoing.

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile carrier plan for details. AurelianOS does not charge for sending or receiving messages, but your carrier's standard SMS rates apply.

5. How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving messages at any time:

6. Privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or message data with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used exclusively to deliver messages on behalf of the contractor you contacted. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Supported Carriers

Messages are delivered through Twilio and are supported on all major U.S. and Canadian wireless carriers, including but not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Rogers, Bell, Telus, and their affiliates and MVNOs. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
